FAIR USE POLICY
All information contained within the document is proprietary to leoTM . Such information shall be kept confidential by all concerned and on no account disclose, publish, or advertise this specification or related information to any third party without the prior written consent of leo.
PREABLE
The rules as set out in this document relates to the Subscriber’s use of leoTM Services.
It is intended to ensure that the Services provided to the Subscriber are of value, fast and reliable.
It sets out all the uses of the Services that leoTM may consider unfair or unacceptable.
The Subscriber is expected to ensure that any use of leoTM Services, by him/herself or others via his/her account, complies with these Rules, failing which leoTM shall:
send the Subscriber a notice to stop the unfair or unacceptable use(s) or;
Terminate or suspend the Subscriber’s services, with or without notice, as leoTM considers appropriate in the circumstances.
These Rules together with the Terms and Conditions of Subscriber Service Agreement shall be binding to the Subscriber.
PROHIBITED AND/ OR UNACCEPTABLE USES
The Subscriber shall not use leoTM Services for:
unlawful, illegal activities;
sending, receiving, publishing, uploading, downloading or using any material which is offensive;
breach of the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any person; knowingly or negligently creating, transmitting any electronic material which are likely to interrupt or damage the functionality of any computer software, hardware or telecommunications equipment network or services owned by leo or any other Internet user or person;
granting access to the Services to others not located at the premises at which the Services are connected, or, in any way reselling or re-providing the Services to third parties;
SECURITY AND UNAUTHORIZED USE
The Subscriber shall be responsible for protecting security information from any unauthorized person. Such information shall include information controlling access to any equipment, computer hardware systems or networks or any computer software or applications or any other services accessed by the Subscriber.
The Subscriber undertakes not to circumvent the user authentication or security process of a host or network.
The Subscriber shall be responsible for all uses made of the Services through his/her account and for any breach of this Policy whether or not the Subscriber has knowledge of such use or breach.
EXCESSIVE NETWORK USAGE BY A SUBSCRIBER
There is no limit on the monthly network usage. However, should the Subscriber’s activities be found to be excessive so that other customers are detrimentally affected, leoTM shall give the Customer a written notice/ warning (by email or otherwise). In extreme circumstances, if the levels of activity do not immediately decrease after such notice/ warning, leo may terminate or suspend your Services without further advance notice to Subscriber.
Under the policy we have defined fair usage levels for unlimited data transfer plans and needless to mention, the usage levels set are very generous such that most customers will not be affected by the Fair Usage Policy.
On reaching the fair usage level 40GB, the plan speed would be rationalized to 128kbps for the rest of the monthly billing cycle.
